AI receptionist

A front desk that picks up on the second ring, at 2am, in two languages.

It takes the details, answers the questions you get asked forty times a week, and books the appointment. Anyone who wants a human gets one.

The problem

What an unanswered phone actually costs

Nobody in a five-person office answers every call. Somebody’s in court, somebody’s with a patient, and after six everybody’s gone home. The calls keep arriving — evening is when the caller finally had a moment. They get voicemail, and most people won’t leave one.

The usual fixes are an answering service or another hire. A service takes a message, which beats voicemail and still isn’t an answer. A hire covers business hours only. Neither is awake at eleven, knows what you charge, and can book while the caller is on the line.

How it works

How it gets built

Nothing goes live the day it’s built.

01

We write down what your front desk already says

An hour with whoever answers the phone now: the daily questions, the answers you’ll give, who gets transferred to whom.

02

We set the voice and the boundaries

You pick the voice. We write the harder half — what it may state as fact, and what it must never touch. For a law firm that means advice, deadlines and opinions on a case.

03

It goes live on your own number

Your number stays yours. Forward after hours, after four rings, or every call. You can switch it off from your phone.

04

It hands over rather than pushing through

Anyone who asks for a person gets one immediately. So does anyone it isn’t confident about, or who sounds distressed.

05

It runs alongside you for a fortnight first

You read every transcript for two weeks and tell us where it was wrong. That gap only shows in transcripts.

What you get

What it does once it’s running

No line item here is an upsell waiting to happen.

Answers every call, at every hour

No queue, no hold music. Twenty callers at nine on a Monday all get answered at once.

English and Spanish, picked up automatically

It detects the language in the first sentence and stays in it, including the follow-up text.

Answers about your business, not in general

Hours, location, what you handle, what you charge to start. Outside that it says "let me get someone".

Books while the caller is still on the phone

It reads live availability, offers real slots and confirms by text before the call ends.

A transcript and a summary of every call

Who called, what they wanted, what happens next — into the CRM and to you as a text.

It tells callers what it is

It introduces itself as an assistant and offers a person straight away. Pretending otherwise annoys the exact caller you were trying to win.

Who it is for

Who we’ve built this for

Built mostly for law firms. The machinery doesn’t care what you sell.

  • Law firm — takes a new matter at midnight and says plainly it can’t give legal advice.
  • Dental practice — takes the insurance and pricing calls off the front desk.
  • Contractor — captures the address, the job and the urgency, then texts you the summary.
  • Salon — books and answers stylist questions while every hand on the floor is full.
  • Thrift store — hours, what came in this week, and whether you take donations.
  • Home services — separates a real emergency from a Tuesday job, and wakes you only for the first.

Honest answers

The four things everybody asks.

It sounds like a person on a compressed phone line. The tell is timing, not voice — there’s a beat before it answers. It says it’s an assistant, so nobody’s fooled either way.

It’s built to fail towards a person. Anything outside what it was given, any answer it isn’t sure of, any caller who sounds upset — it stops and transfers.

Some will, fewer than hate voicemail. What angers people is an assistant that won’t let them reach a human, so ours gives up the moment somebody asks. If your callers are usually in distress, we’d keep it off daytime calls.

A fixed price once the scope is agreed; most single automations land in the low four figures. The number and the per-minute charge sit on your card at cost.

Tell us how calls and inquiries reach you now, and what happens to the ones that arrive at the wrong moment. We’ll tell you which build is worth doing first.

Discovery is a fixed fee and you keep the shortlist either way.
